Never Negotiate when you are hungry

One of the greatest lessons I am learning from negotiating in trade or even for myself as an artist, or in any other profession that I have undertaken, is to THINK OF MYSELF AS A VERY BIG DEAL. FOR ME AND MANY OF US TO HAVE AN INCREDIBLE SELF BELIEF, IN OUR ABILITY TO AIM AND SUCCEED. TO HAVE A GREAT BELIEF IN WHAT WE ARE BRINGING TO THE DEAL. TO BELIEVE THAT WE WERE WORTHY OF IT, AND IT WAS NOT JUST A FAVOR.

By world standards, I am not yet, lol, for truthfulness, its like doing one film and walking around like brad pit. He he he, but I think of it this way, if you called, I must be amazing.

For most of my life, I had undertaken very inferior positions. Quite often, it is because, at that moment, anything seemed better than nothing. "At least it is something" later I would realize by taking inferior positions in life, you barely enjoyed the experience. It was quite suffocating. You'd be spending every waking moment trying to get out of it. "Have I not called you to be courageous"

It is true, in most cases, we get afraid of people who try to pose like the promised Messiah, or want to take the place of God and intermediate others because they have that moment of power. But people only have power over you, that you allow them to have.

The hardest thing I ever had to do is to walk out of something that would have been my ticket out of poverty. But if it would be traded for my self-respect, it would never be worth it. I have seen people withstand insults, abuse, and many forms of degrading, and I didn't believe that even for money, anyone should treat or accept to be treated in a manner that is close to slavery.

These days I get into spaces, like I am God-sent. Like I am going to meet my equal. I didn't need any tactics or anything dramatic, just me. Because I already I am bid deal. I don't need no tactics. We may either agree or disagree and that is okay.

I read, never go to the negotiating table hungry. Don't walk around like you have rented your own body. Believe in yourself, that wherever that came from, more will come.

Set audacious dreams and beliefs to achieve them. Nobody was special, people were just different, and every diversity was necessary
